Jessica S. Herzig is an associate in the West Palm Beach office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense and in the representation of physicians, nurses, allied health providers, hospitals, assisted living facilities and other long term care facilities; products liability, automobile liability claims, premises liability, and professional liability.
Prior to joining QPWB, she was an associate with a Palm Beach County law office representing insurers and insureds in first and third party claims including bad faith coverage issues, construction defect, property claims, products liability suits, automobile accidents and other types of insurance disputes; and in personal injury and general liability matters. Ms. Herzig began private practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a criminal defense boutique law firm where she focused on misdemeanors, felonies and other criminal offenses; probate and estate planning, civil appeals, and contracts.
Ms. Herzig received her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law, Oklahoma in May 2014 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in May 2011 graduating with a major in sociology and minor in English. While in law school, she was a law clerk with two regional law offices where she gained valuable experience attending in-court hearings, participating in depositions and negotiating plea agreements.
Ms. Herzig is licensed to practice law in Florida and Oklahoma and is a member of The Florida Bar and Oklahoma Bar Association; and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Section.
Ms. Herzig has volunteered at Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter, Humane Society of Tulsa, Alachua County Humane Society, and Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
She has intermediate knowledge of Spanish language and literature.
