Jade M. Gummer is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. His areas of practice include premises liability, products liability, negligent security, nursing home defense, general liability matters involving large and small retailers, apartment complexes, liquor liability, and automotive liability defense.
Mr. Gummer received his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 2001 and Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Western Kentucky University in 1998, where he continued his education and earned a Masters of Public Administration.
Mr. Gummer lectures throughout Florida and nationally on legal trends and managing risk on topics such as: equipment safety, spoliation, and defending depositions of corporate representatives. Additionally, Mr. Gummer provides in-service training for clients on issues related to risk management, risk reduction, safety, and employee training.
Mr. Gummer is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) and the Claims Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), where he has routinely served as a speaker.
Mr. Gummer is a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee. He is a founder and past president of the Lake Nona Toastmasters, Western Kentucky University alumni board and currently serves as a volunteer youth and high school football coach.
