Alexandra Castro is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where she focuses her practice in the areas of general liability, premises liability, negligent security, medical malpractice, and labor and employment.

Since 2002, Ms. Castro has been handling matters in the areas of civil litigation and insurance defense in Florida and Massachusetts.  Although originally from Boston, she began her legal career in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and later in Boston, where she worked at two prominent boutique firms specializing in construction litigation, medical malpractice, fidelity and surety law.   Ms. Castro relocated to Florida in 2007 where she continues her practice in the areas of complex personal injury and employment discrimination.

Ms. Castro received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center at Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2002. While in law school, she was honored with the National Association of Women Lawyers Award, she was also Associate Managing Editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law, a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and a certified Guardian Ad Litem.  She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University in 1999.

Ms. Castro is licensed to practice law in Florida and Massachusetts and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  She is a member of The Florida Bar, the Miami Dade County Bar Association and Broward County Bar Association.

Ms. Castro is fluent in Spanish.
