Alexa Tello is an associate in the Scottsdale Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Tello focuses her practice on corporate law, business formation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. She also handles matters involving contract disputes, arbitration, mediation, and federal trademark protection. Her multifaceted practice equips her to serve a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurs and startups to established corporations navigating cross-border structuring and compliance requirements.
Ms. Tello brings a strong foundation in transactional and regulatory law to her role at QPWB. She has experience forming LLCs, corporations, and nonprofits, preparing operating agreements and bylaws, and advising clients on entity structure, tax classification, and regulatory requirements, including compliance with the Corporate Transparency Act. Her transactional work includes drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts such as investor agreements, service agreements, franchise purchase agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and more.
She has also represented clients in statutory mergers and conversions, shareholder meetings, and capital structuring. In addition, Ms. Tello counsels' clients through intellectual property matters, particularly in federal trademark filings and enforcement. She has experience handling business disputes, responding to demand letters, and representing clients in contract-related mediation and arbitration. Her experience also includes work in employment defense, consumer protection, and small business advising through various clinics and internships.
Ms. Tello attended Santa Clara University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor and held leadership roles in the Labor and Employment Law Society and participated in multiple legal clinics focused on consumer law and entrepreneurship. She was a Law Faculty Scholarship recipient and active in the Women and Law, and the Law and Business societies. In 2018, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from Concordia University, Irvine.
Admitted to practice law in the state of Arizona, Ms. Tello brings business acumen to her work. Outside of her practice, she enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her French Bulldog.
