Alexander Baur is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Baur brings a strong foundation in case preparation, detail-oriented analysis, and operational leadership to the firm. He focuses his practice primarily on construction defect litigation and general liability matters.
Mr. Baur advanced to his role as an associate at QPWB after serving as a law clerk within the firm's Construction Practice Group since early 2025. During his tenure as a clerk, he worked directly alongside the Chair of the national program, gaining hands-on experience in complex construction matters, legal research, and litigation support.
Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Baur built a robust professional background centered on operations, regulatory compliance, and personnel management. He spent over five years as an assistant store manager for a major firearms retailer and manufacturer, where he directed day-to-day operations and oversaw approximately 30 employees. In this capacity, his responsibilities spanned comprehensive staff training, onboarding, and scheduling, alongside managing a multi-million dollar inventory and ensuring strict alignment with rigid federal and state safety and regulatory standards. Additionally, he gained foundational consumer-relations experience as a management assistant within the automotive rental industry, earning recognition for outperforming peers in localized sales benchmarks.
In 2025, Mr. Baur earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Barry University School of Law, where he demonstrated academic excellence by securing a Book Award in Motions and Depositions, and another in Sports Law. He previously completed his undergraduate studies at Lander University in 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History.
He is licensed to practice law in Florida.
