Alexis C. Jones is an associate in the Atlanta Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She concentrates her practice on insurance defense and complex civil litigation, with a primary focus on personal injury matters involving automobile accidents, trucking claims, and premises liability. Ms. Jones manages a high-volume litigation docket and is deeply involved in all phases of case development, from early liability and damages assessments through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. She works closely with insurers, adjusters, and insured clients to develop strategic defenses designed to mitigate exposure.
Ms. Jones has extensive experience negotiating and resolving claims, having successfully settled numerous matters through mediation and strategic negotiation. Her litigation background includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, coordinating discovery plans, preparing clients and witnesses for depositions, and developing trial themes and factual timelines to support liability defenses. She regularly collaborates with medical, vocational, and economic experts to analyze injury severity, causation, and alleged damages. Her practice also includes multijurisdictional litigation support, where she adapts quickly to varying procedural rules and works alongside local counsel to ensure compliance and consistency in litigation strategy across multiple states.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Jones brings a strong alternative dispute resolution background to her work. As a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, she successfully mediated more than 150 disputes with a 100% resolution rate. Having this experience further enhances her ability to evaluate cases pragmatically, identify core issues, and guide matters toward resolution when appropriate, while remaining prepared to litigate aggressively when necessary.
Ms. Jones earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, where she graduated with a certification as a Registered Neutral. While in law school, she was recognized as a GSU Merit Scholar, served as a Graduate Research Assistant, and received Pro Bono & Public Service recognition with Highest Distinction. Before law school, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Sciences and Finance from Georgia State University, graduating with multiple academic honors in 2016.
Licensed to practice law in Georgia, Ms. Jones is actively engaged in professional and community service initiatives, including pro bono work with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. Outside of her practice, she volunteers as a youth basketball coach and supports community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
