Anam Justus is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., dedicated to defending healthcare professionals and providers, including hospitals, physicians, and nurses, in professional liability matters, primarily focusing on medical malpractice and long-term care defense. From depositions and hearings to jury trials, arbitrations, and appeals, Ms. Justus has comprehensive experience covering every aspect of litigation.

Ms. Justus is responsible for managing medical malpractice and long term care litigation cases, including the formulation of overall case strategy and liability assessments. She has also participated in several jury trials and obtained defense verdicts in cases related to medical malpractice and personal injury. Outside of litigation, she also routinely counsels her clients on risk management strategies, including policy review, subpoena responses, and HIPAA compliance.

In addition to her practice at QPWB, Ms. Justus shares her legal writing acumen by serving as a grader for bar exam preparation essays. She assesses mock bar exam answers submitted by law students from across the country, aiding them in sharpening their advanced legal writing abilities, improving their case analysis techniques, and perfecting their statutory interpretation skills.

Ms. Justus earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, with honors, and her Bachelor of Science from Nova Southeastern University, with high honors. While in law school, she gained valuable experience as a member and coach of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where her team was awarded First Place Brief.

She is licensed to practice in Georgia and is an active member of the Georgia State Bar and Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. She was named a Georgia Rising Star for the year 2022-2023.
