Andrew J. Silvers is an associate in the Tampa Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Silvers defends insurers in first-party property matters, handling cases from inception to resolution, conducting depositions of fact witnesses, insureds, insurance representatives, and experts. His practice extends to handling cases in the areas of personal injury, replevin, employment, and other through various stages, including pre-suit, litigation, and settlement negotiations.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Silvers gained valuable litigation and transactional experience at several Florida law firms. His work included drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions, managing trial strategies, and representing clients in trademark matters before state and federal agencies. He established and managed a trademark practice area, counseling businesses on brand protection, filing applications with the USPTO, and advising on infringement disputes. Earlier in his career, he also served as a law clerk and legal assistant, where he drafted motions in criminal, real estate, and family law cases, prepared trial binders, and supported attorneys through hearings and depositions.
In 2019, Mr. Silvers attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor and was named to the Honor Roll as an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Prior to attending law school, he received his Bachelor's degree in History from the University of South Florida, where he also served as Alternate Captain of the USF IceBulls Hockey Team and was a member of the Pre-Law Organization.
Mr. Silvers is admitted to practice law in Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Outside of his practice, Mr. Silvers is an active volunteer with youth hockey programs, the founder and director of the USF IceBulls Alumni Association, and was selected to represent the ACHA D3 Selects National Hockey Team in international competition.
