Andrew S. Roskind is a partner in the Knoxville Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With more than two decades of litigation experience, Mr. Roskind focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, including health care liability, premises liability, product liability, trucking accidents, and commercial disputes. He represents physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and general contractors in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
As a seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Roskind provides strategic counsel to health care providers navigating regulatory investigations, mergers and acquisitions, and professional board matters. Known for his well-prepared and persuasive courtroom presence, he has served as lead counsel in numerous high-stakes trials and is frequently invited to deliver CLE presentations across Tennessee on topics such as trial evidence, demonstrative aids, and health care regulations, including qui tam and Stark Law.
Throughout his career, Mr. Roskind has held various leadership roles in the Tennessee Bar Association, including service on the Board of Directors, House of Delegates, and as Associate General Counsel. He is deeply committed to mentorship and has guided both associates and summer law clerks throughout their professional development.
Mr. Roskind obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2002, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team and received the Attorney General's Award for Trial Advocacy. Before law school, he gained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee in 1999.
Licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia, Mr. Roskind is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served honorably for six years and earning several commendations, including the Navy Combat Medal.
