Anna Cheung is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  Ms. Cheung defends insurers in first party property coverage matters and declaratory judgment matters.  Her areas of practice also include premises liability, contract actions related to property damage and casualty, and construction claims. She handles all aspects of civil litigation from case inception through completion, including examinations under oath, mediations and pre-litigation negotiations.

Prior to joining QPWB, she was a partner to an insurance defense law firm in Miami providing legal advice and counsel with respect to first party property insurance litigation, managing large caseloads and negotiating hundreds of settlements for over ten years.  Ms. Cheung's experience includes a judicial clerk position with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida assisting a judge draft orders and opinions, working with chambers staff and court personnel and outlining elements to meet the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA).  Previously, she was a law clerk for the Seventh Circuit Federal District Court assisting the federal defender in the defense and resolution of criminal prosecutions. 

Ms. Cheung received her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law, Saint Paul, Minnesota in May 2007 and Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2002, with a major in political science and concentration in pre-law. 

Ms. Cheung is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York and Wisconsin.  

Her professional affiliations include membership in the Windstorm Insurance Network and Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee.

She is fluent in Cantonese.
