Anthony "Alex" Murdock is an associate in the Las Vegas Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Murdock possesses a diverse legal background, representing clients in workers' compensation matters, administrative law proceedings, and civil litigation. He is proficient in drafting pleadings for various court levels, including the Nevada Supreme Court, and has successfully advocated for clients in both court and administrative hearings. Mr. Murdock focuses his practice on workers' compensation, administrative law, and general litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Murdock served as a law clerk and associate at a regional firm, where he focused on workers' compensation and general litigation. He also gained valuable legal experience through externships with a public defender's office and a legal services organization, where he assisted in managing criminal dockets and civil litigation matters.
Mr. Murdock also brings a unique perspective from his distinguished military service in the United States Navy. During his tenure, he served as a Cryptologic Technician Interpretive, providing translation and intelligence analysis, and as a Master-at-Arms, where he enforced federal and military regulations and coordinated security operations. Additionally, his experience as a small business owner and a revenue agent for the South Dakota Department of Revenue provides him with a strong foundation in financial analysis and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Murdock earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he was active in student government and advocated for the student body at the Nevada State Legislature. He is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
