Mr. Horrnik focuses his practice on the representation of general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and design professionals. Since 2008, he has guided and represented clients in the construction sector in all matters related to construction industry claims and litigation practice in state and federal courts, before boards of contract appeals, and settlement negotiations.

Previously, and for over five years, Mr. Horrnik served as senior lead counsel to a United States-based, Fortune 500 property and casualty insurance company where he handled all construction defect litigation for the company's insureds in West, Central, and North Florida. Prior to joining QPWB, he was a partner and lead defense attorney for a variety of construction industry clients at a Tampa law office. Mr. Horrnik was an attorney with other central Florida law offices where he represented clients in coverage and construction defect litigation in local county and circuit courts, facilitated settlement negotiation and was an advisor in the areas of corporate and transactional matters, purchase and sale agreements, mergers and reorganizations, and contractor/employee agreements. Before practicing law, Mr. Horrnik served as Special Assistant in Latin America Affairs for the New York Yankees.

Mr. Horrnik received his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in May 2008 and Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Florida in May 2004.
