With a practice concentrated on civil litigation, Ms. Odeh has a particular focus on medical malpractice, construction litigation, and premises liability matters. She handles complex, multi-party cases involving hospitals, physicians, engineers, and contractors, often navigating intricate factual scenarios such as standards of care, building codes, and technical site analyses.
Ms. Odeh has experience managing all phases of litigation, from pre-suit through trial. Her background includes conducting and defending depositions, engaging in settlement negotiations and mediations, and collaborating closely with expert witnesses including medical professionals and engineering consultants. She has participated in federal court proceedings, drafted a broad range of legal filings including trial and dispositive motions, and served as trial chair. Her knowledge extends to both state and federal jurisdictions, including appearances in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Odeh gained early experience in the industry through a federal judicial internship with the Southern District of Illinois and worked on insurance and corporate litigation matters, including first-party property claims and assignments of benefits. In these roles, she supported trial preparation, reviewed discovery for insurers, and contributed to pre-litigation strategy discussions with adjusters and legal teams.
Graduating from Florida State University College of Law, Ms. Odeh earned her Juris Doctor in 2022, where she served as a research assistant and focused on law and risk management. Prior to law school, she attended Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology.
Ms. Odeh is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
