Ashley N. Ward-Singleton is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses in the areas of general liability and insurance defense relating to first-party property claims including extra-contractual matters, insurance coverage and bad faith actions regarding claims for windstorm, sinkhole, water, mold, fire and theft losses; her practice also includes handling automobile liability, premises liability, negligent security, and product liability matters.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Ward-Singleton was an attorney with a Clearwater, Florida law office litigating high volume plaintiff’s property insurance cases from intake through conclusion in State and Federal courts; she also serves as an Adjunct professor in Trial Advocacy at Stetson College of Law, and is a Grader with the Florida Board of Bar Examiners. Previously, in St. Petersburg, Florida, she worked as an associate attorney with an insurance defense law firm where she second-chaired in bodily injury trials; and was chief civil attorney at a personal injury and property insurance law firm.
Ms. Ward-Singleton received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and Master of Business Administration from Stetson University, Gulfport, Florida in December 2010; she was awarded dual Bachelor of Sciences in Marketing and in Communications from Florida State University in April 2006. While in law school, she was a member of the moot court.
Ms. Ward-Singleton is licensed to practice law in Florida and is also admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida.
