Austin M. Potts is an associate in the Houston Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he focuses his practice on estate planning and probate administration. Mr. Potts has a wealth of experience in drafting estate planning instruments and managing probate processes.
Over his career, Mr. Potts has prepared more than 300 wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents, ensuring comprehensive strategies for asset protection and distribution. He has administered over 120 estates, overseeing every aspect of the probate process, including preparing legal filings, managing compliance with state and federal regulations, and guiding clients through complex legal proceedings.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Potts acquired valuable experience researching substantive and procedural legal matters, drafting motions and memoranda, and supporting litigation through court appearances and client consultations. His hands-on approach and dedication to understanding client goals have solidified his reputation for providing meticulous estate planning solutions and guiding clients through every phase of the probate process with clarity and precision.
Mr. Potts received his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2021. During law school, Mr. Potts refined his skills as a tutor for Contract and Property Law and participated in competitive programs through the Board of Barristers, excelling in moot court, mock trial, and negotiations. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Minor in Business from Texas A&M University, which he earned in 2017.
Admitted to practice law in Texas, Mr. Potts is a member of the Houston and Texas Aggie Bar Associations.
