Austin Russell is an Associate in the Atlanta Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, automotive liability, criminal defense, and general liability.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Russell gained extensive courtroom and litigation experience serving as an Assistant Solicitor General within both State Court Division A and Division B of the DeKalb County Office of the Solicitor General. During his tenure, he managed an intensive caseload of up to hundreds of cases per week, navigating matters ranging from complex traffic infractions and commercial driver compliance under federal regulations to high-stakes domestic violence cases.
An accomplished trial advocate, Mr. Russell served as lead prosecutor in 12 jury trials and 12 bench trials, and successfully argued numerous motions requiring deep evidentiary and case law analysis. Throughout his time in public service, he was highly regarded for his ability to build strong case files, manage sensitive victim advocacy, and maintain professionalism during intense courtroom negotiations.
Mr. Russell earned his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in 2024 and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Georgia in 2016.
He is licensed to practice law in Georgia.
