Austin B. Williams is an associate in the Dallas office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Williams focuses his practice on defending professional liability claims involving negligence and alleged abuse relating to medical malpractice actions, nursing homes, long-term care facilities and healthcare providers, and represents insurers and insureds in all aspects of first party residential and commercial property claims. His practice includes managing general liability and casualty, mass torts, motor vehicle negligence claims, products liability, construction defect claims, premises liability, negligent security matters, and wrongful death actions.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Williams worked with a Dallas insurance defense law firm where he was the lead defense attorney on cases involving insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability and wrongful death matters. Mr. Williams worked directly with insurance carriers and adjusters from inception of matter through valuation of claim, and final resolution on cases relating to automobile liability claims, underinsured/uninsured motorist claims, premises liability, wrongful death claims, and insurance coverage disputes. His previous legal experience includes working with other Texas law firms in Dallas, Arlington and Odessa and included managing trucking accident claims, homeowners' insurance claims. He has also represented plaintiffs in automotive, trucking and premises liability matters where he first chaired and second chaired several trials and represented clients in administrative hearings as head of the Social Security disability department.
Mr. Williams received his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2014 and Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah in 2010.
He is licensed to practice law in Texas.
Mr. Williams lived in Brazil for two years while serving on a church mission. He is fluent in Portuguese.
