Barbara E. Gil is an associate in the Orlando Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Gil focuses her practice on complex business and commercial litigation, representing corporate clients in matters involving contract disputes, business torts, shareholder disputes, and other high-stakes commercial issues. Ms. Gil is recognized for her thorough case analysis and strategic approach to developing tailored legal solutions that align with each client's business goals.
Before joining QPWB, Ms. Gil was part of a business litigation group where she managed a robust caseload and participated in all phases of trial preparation, including serving as second-chair in a jury trial. Her experience spans drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, and appearing in court on behalf of corporate clients.
Ms. Gil earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she was an active member of the Moot Court Board and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. She also received the Florin Roebig P.A. Outstanding Advocate Award and served as a research assistant for "The Short & Happy Guide to Family Law." She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Writing and Rhetoric from the University of Central Florida.
Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, Ms. Gil is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of her legal career, she enjoys exploring Central Florida's vibrant food scene with friends and her dog.
