Benjamin P. Ralston is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., whose extensive legal career is marked by notable achievements and a distinctive approach to the practice. Mr. Ralston specializes in long-term care and nursing home dense, professional liability, products liability, and commercial insurance claims.

Mr. Ralston has led and supervised attorneys handling over 200 case files for a significant nursing home chain. His prowess in professional liability defense is evident through his successful resolution of more than 100 cases against the same nursing home entity. Notably, he played a pivotal role in expanding business by attracting and developing partnerships with the nation's largest commercial insurer.

In a previous role, Mr. Ralston sat Third Chair at Trial in a substantial products liability case, skillfully handling cross-examinations and direct examinations. He was instrumental in drafting pre-trial evidentiary motions, managing discovery responses, document production, and depositions of fact witnesses. Additionally, he achieved a defense verdict at a two-day arbitration, effectively taking and defending all depositions during discovery, despite plaintiff's counsel requesting over $2.4 million in closing arguments. He also secured a Summary Judgment for Defendants in another case, where he drafted and argued a brief in support of the motion, overseeing all pertinent depositions.

His commitment to professional development is evident through his participation in the Long-Term Care Power Lawyers Program. This intensive six-month trial and case-handling training, centered around a hypothetical fact pattern in a long-term care setting.

Mr. Ralston earned his Juris Doctor in 2016 from the University of Georgia School of Law. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in 2012. Additionally, he holds an Associate of Arts degree from Truett McConnell College.

He is licensed to practice in Georgia.
