Brent A. Sunnucks is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. His practice areas include premises liability, construction defects, motor vehicle negligence, product liability, workers' compensation defense, and general insurance defense.
With a focus on handling first-party property insurance cases for national insurance carriers, Mr. Sunnucks skillfully conducts and defends depositions of insureds, corporate representatives, engineers, and adjusters. He actively engages in mediations and arbitrations, expertly negotiating settlements for clients, which include homeowners and contractors, across a spectrum of legal issues, from motions to compel to motions for summary judgment.
Mr. Sunnucks' educational journey includes graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2016. His academic background also features a Master of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University in 2010, with a major in History. In his formative years in law school, he gained valuable experience as a clerk with the Office of the Public Defender, Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee, Florida, and with the Pinellas County Attorney's Office.
