Brian C. Guenther is a partner in the Miami Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. As a Board-Certified Civil Trial Attorney with nearly three decades of experience litigating, he specializes in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Guenther has tried more than 50 circuit court cases to verdict and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving insurance coverage disputes, uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM) claims, property loss, and allegations of bad faith.
In addition to his extensive trial background, Mr. Guenther is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, regularly serving as a neutral in circuit court claims across the state. His mediation work spans a wide range of disputes, including personal injury, insurance, construction, and real estate matters, where his experience as both plaintiff and defense counsel allows him to bring balance and perspective to negotiations.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Guenther served as trial counsel for numerous insurance carriers and private clients, developing a deep understanding of the strategies and considerations on both sides of litigation. His career includes leadership roles at prominent defense firms, as well as years of experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death matters. He has also been recognized by his peers as a Super Lawyers magazine selection and holds an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of professional excellence.
Mr. Guenther earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 1994 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1990. He was originally board-certified in Civil Trial Law in 2004 and re-certified in 2024.
Active in his community, Mr. Guenther has served as a parish council member for Saint Michael the Archangel, chairman of the School Advisory Board for Guardian Angels Catholic School, and as a board member and coach for Oldsmar Little League. He has also contributed his time to the Clearwater Bar Foundation Board of Trustees.
Mr. Guenther is licensed to practice law in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
