Brian T. Ginley is an associate in the Chicago Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he concentrates his practice in employment and labor law and defends businesses and individuals in a wide range of civil litigation matters. He has extensive experience advising and representing employers in claims involving employment discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations under state and federal law.
Mr. Ginley regularly appears before state and federal courts and administrative bodies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR), Illinois Human Rights Commission (IHRC), and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). He also represents clients in matters involving construction site injuries, premises liability, defamation, housing discrimination, and other business disputes.
With over two decades of experience in insurance defense, Mr. Ginley built a strong civil litigation practice. His work has included handling complex matters involving construction accidents, automobile liability, product liability, and employment discrimination. He has also represented a major rideshare company and its drivers in high-volume civil claims. Mr. Ginley is proficient in guiding cases from initial investigation to final resolution, including trial advocacy. His litigation experience includes notable cases such as Thompson v. Reese and Sears v. Pap's Tap, Inc.
In 2003, Mr. Ginley earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating in 2000.
Mr. Ginley is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.
