Brian W. Harrell is a Managing Partner of the New Orleans hub and manages the Louisiana practice of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Bringing over two decades of experience and a dedicated focus to insurance defense litigation, Mr. Harrell excels in handling a diverse array of cases, including construction, casualty, first and third-party insurance coverage, products liability, and bad faith litigation. His expertise extends to matters that encompass complex commercial litigation, professional liability, workers' compensation defense, and toxic tort litigation, specifically asbestos and hearing loss.

Mr. Harrell has held various senior attorney roles throughout law firms in Louisiana, including his recent role as Partner-In-Charge, where he specialized in construction litigation, casualty litigation, and hurricane defense litigation. While in this capacity, he adeptly represented the nation's largest insurance companies, insureds, business owners, and Fortune 500 companies, managing all aspects of claims in both state and federal courts. Mr. Harrell has overseen numerous cases, guiding partners and associates, from initial filing through discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeals, when necessary.

In 1998, Mr. Harrell graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, majoring in political science and philosophy. He went on to attend Tulane Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor in May of 2001. 

He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas, and his affiliations include memberships in the Louisiana Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, American Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
