Bridget B. Krysztopa is an associate in the Chicago hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where she focuses her practice on workers compensation defense.
Before becoming an Associate Attorney at QPWB, Ms. Krysztopa began with the firm as a law clerk, gaining valuable experience in investigating and managing claims with a strong emphasis on compliance and regulatory requirements. In her prior roles, she collaborated closely with general and outside counsel to conduct thorough internal investigations of EEOC claims and worked diligently to ensure company compliance with ADA, ADAAA, FMLA, Title VII, and other state and federal statutes and regulations. Her responsibilities included updating company policies, auditing handbooks, and drafting memoranda on complex privacy, employment, and regulatory issues as they arose, allowing her to develop a deep understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance.
While earning her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, Ms. Krysztopa actively participated in the Small Business Clinic and volunteered with the Milwaukee Justice Center. She was recognized with the CALI Award for Civil Rights Enforcement and was a member of the Pro Bono Society and the Business Law Society. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Business Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of Dayton. During her undergraduate studies, she demonstrated leadership as the founder and president of UDFIT Micro Business and served as a consultant in real estate development projects for the Greater West Dayton Incubator.
Ms. Krysztopa is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Wisconsin.
