Brittany S. Herndon is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Herndon specializes in defending insurers in first party property coverage matters. Her other areas of practice include automotive liability and general litigation. Ms. Herndon has represented clients in a wide range of litigation claims, including criminal law, personal injury, slip and fall, family matters, insurance disputes, and foreclosure cases. She is an experienced civil litigation attorney handling all aspects of civil litigation throughout various Florida county courts from case inception through completion, including examinations under oath, dispositive hearings, mediation and arbitration, and pre-trial procedures.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Herndon worked in the private law firm sector for over 5 years attending and advocating for clients at civil court proceedings. Providing legal advice and counsel with respect to first party property insurance litigation, she has handled large caseloads, negotiated settlements, and has an extensive background in pre-suit litigation management.
Ms. Herndon received her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in May 2016 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida in 2013, with a major in political science.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the Middle and Southern districts of Florida. Ms. Herndon is a member of the Florida Bar Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
