Mr. Lieberman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bard College, where he was President of the Student Senate. While at Bard, he received the Columbia University Teachers College Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Education. He received his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Staff and the recipient of the Halpern Award for Excellence in Trial Practice.
Mr. Lieberman served in the U.S. Army and as Deputy District Attorney for Contra Costa County, California. His practice includes patient/resident care litigation in the elder care space arising out of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and various forms of professional liability litigation. Mr. Lieberman also has extensive experience in complex business and real estate litigation and the representation of banks and businesses in the negotiation, drafting and resolution of business and real estate transactions.
Mr. Lieberman is the author of Toward a More Perfect Union, a book of political essays published shortly after the 2016 presidential election.
