Bryan J. Dyer is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice in the areas of general defense litigation with an emphasis on first party property insurance defense, coverage and bad faith claims, complex litigation involving premises liability, motor vehicle liability, products liability, negligent security, and wrongful death matters. Mr. Dyer represents insurance carriers and their insureds in all phases of pretrial claims, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, trials and post litigation. He regularly collaborates with experts in various fields in investigating facts relating to liability and injury or damage assessment. His experience is recognized in Best Lawyers, "Ones to Watch" in the areas of Product Liability Litigation - Defendants, and Insurance Law.
Mr. Dyer has worked as an associate attorney with various large insurance defense law firms in South Florida, where he has managed large volumes of cases in every aspect of litigation including discovery, investigation, reporting, depositions, hearings, mediations and trials.
He also worked at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAH) in Norfolk, Virginia as a contract specialist. Mr. Dyer also reviewed a variety of contracts, proposals and quotations for two large corporations in Miami: Burger King Corporation and Kforce Legal, where he drafted and reviewed dozens of U.S. and international franchise contract agreements. Previously, he served as an international human rights fellow and pre-screen specialist in Broward County managing clients and classified legal issues while assisting with the representation of veterans.
Mr. Dyer received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2015; a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Kaplan University, Davenport, Iowa; and a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University, graduating with a major in anthropology. While in law school, he served as a juvenile diversion instructor and faculty assistant position to a Broward County judge while teaching classes in a juvenile delinquency program and assisting with reports involving Florida Juvenile Law. He also worked as a judicial clerk to the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Fort Lauderdale.
Mr. Dyer is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Before entering law school, Mr. Dyer served with the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), Camp Pendleton, California, specializing in infantry and amphibious assault from 1998 to 2000 and receiving an Honorable Discharge.

Madiba Children's Outreach, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - Executive Director and Founder, January 2011 - Present. Manage a program to assist underprivileged children with education and welfare support.
Independent, Monrovia, Liberia, International Medical Missions Coordinator, January 2006 - February 2010. Worked with children and families needing medical treatment not available in their locations.
Independent, Dubai and Ajman, United Arab Emirates, Human Trafficking Situation Negotiator, March 2010. Traveled to the United Arab Emirates to negotiate the release of an Ethiopian female who traveled to the country for professional work but was trafficked into servitude without pay.
Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program, Johannesburg, South Africa, Experimental Archaeology Researcher, May 2003 - August 2003. Studied at famous paleoanthropological sites including Sterkfontein, Swartcrans, Makapansgat and Kromdreii. Worked at Early and Middle Stone Age sites on mitigation, surveying and testing projects.
