Carlos A. Castro II is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Castro brings a diverse legal background spanning private practice, transactional real estate, and federal legislative counsel experience. His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, trusts and estates, general contract law, government affairs, and civil litigation.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Castro served as Legislative Assistant and Legislative Counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives. In this role, he managed complex legislative portfolios for a sitting Member of Congress, including the House Judiciary, Homeland Security, and Science, Space, and Technology committees. He served as key legal counsel for the office, drafting legislation, analyzing regulatory policies, and advising on complex statutory matters.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Castro was a partner at a Coral Gables law firm where he represented clients in real estate closings, title matters, estate planning, and business contract negotiation. He is a certified title agent and certified civil notary, bringing practical transactional acumen and statutory compliance expertise to every client representation. His foundational legal experience also includes work with various regional defense firms and municipal legal departments in South Florida.
Mr. Castro earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2013, where he actively participated in community legal education initiatives teaching civil rights. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2009, earning his Bachelor of Science. He is fully fluent in English and Spanish, enhancing his ability to serve South Florida's diverse clientele.
