Carolina D. Fernandez is an associate in the New York Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Fernandez brings a dedicated and multifaceted perspective to the firm, drawing on a diverse background in public interest clinical work, judicial insight, and private practice operations. She focuses her practice on general liability and insurance defense matters.

Prior to transitioning into her role as an associate, Ms. Fernandez served as a Law Clerk with QPWB, where she built a strong foundation in the firm's core defense strategies and litigation management practices.

Her thorough legal training spans key leadership and advocacy roles developed during her academic career. She served as a Supervisor for the Operational Grievance Mechanism Project under the Center for International Law & Policy at New England Law | Boston, where she oversaw research teams evaluating global corporate compliance with U.N. Guidelines on Business and Human Rights. Additionally, she gained direct clinical experience as a 3:03 Certified Student Attorney within the New England Law Clinical Law Office, representing indigent clients in housing and debt collection matters, conducting client counseling, and preparing evidentiary hearings before the Eastern Housing Court.

Notably, she completed a judicial internship for the Honorable Jacqueline Becerra at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, conducting legal research and drafting analytical memoranda on diverse civil and criminal issues. Prior to law school, she also spent over two years developing foundational civil and litigation insight as a legal assistant in private practice, where she managed case files, generated custom legal reports, and organized trial exhibits.

In 2025, Ms. Fernandez earned her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, where she was a recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship and active in the CORI Initiative's Public Policy Team. She completed her undergraduate studies at Florida International University in 2020, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising.

She is licensed to practice law in New York and possesses native fluency in Spanish.
