Carolina V. Martin is a Senior Associate in the Atlanta Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Martin has ten years of civil litigation experience. Her practice is primarily focused on high exposure cases in the areas of workers' compensation and ancillary employment matters, transportation, general liability and insurance coverage, premises liability, and negligent security matters.
Ms. Martin represents clients in contested matters at the trial and appellate levels, appearing and presenting oral argument as lead counsel before civil and administrative courts. She also mediates claims and negotiates settlement agreements. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch™ in the areas of insurance law, personal injury litigation for defendants, and workers' compensation law for employers (2021-2023).
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Martin practiced at other firms well-known firms where she handled numerous cases from inception to conclusion in both state and federal courts, developing successful legal strategies to minimize exposure and bring claims to closure.
Ms. Martin received her Juris Doctor from Pace University, New York in 2013 and Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Purchase.
Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Georgia, Ms. Martin is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Tennessee. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association and serves on the Diversity Committee, and Hispanic National Bar Association.
Ms. Martin is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
