Cassandra M. Williams is an associate in the Atlanta Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She brings a highly distinctive background to her practice, combining extensive litigation experience with deep clinical and regulatory insight gained through decades of service as both an attorney and a registered nurse. Ms. Williams concentrates her practice on administrative law, professional licensing defense, regulatory compliance, workers' compensation, and personal injury matters, with a particular focus on representing licensed professionals and healthcare providers facing complex regulatory and disciplinary issues. Ms. Williams has successfully represented clients in numerous administrative hearings before state agencies and licensing boards.

Her experience includes defending nurses, counselors, social workers, and other licensed professionals in investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and compliance matters involving state boards and regulatory authorities. She regularly drafts pleadings, motions, discovery, consent orders, and settlement agreements, and advocates for clients during hearings and negotiations with administrative bodies. Her regulatory practice is further strengthened by her prior work as an EEOC investigator, where she evaluated workplace discrimination claims, analyzed employer policies, and prepared detailed investigative reports grounded in federal and state law.

In addition to her administrative and regulatory work, Ms. Williams has significant litigation experience across workers' compensation, personal injury, contract disputes, and medical malpractice matters. She has managed cases from intake through resolution, including investigation, discovery, negotiation, and trial preparation. Earlier in her career, she practiced with prominent medical malpractice firms, where she evaluated case viability, reviewed complex medical records, coordinated expert witnesses, and prepared matters for trial and appeal.

Graduating cum laude from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Ms. Williams earned her Juris Doctor and ranked in the top of her class while serving in leadership roles including Senior Associate Editor of the Law Review and member of the Mock Trial Board. She later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Healthcare Law, cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University and completed advanced perioperative training through the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, where she served on active duty as a Captain.

Ms. Williams is admitted to practice law in Georgia, Michigan, and Virginia, and is licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia

Actively involved in professional and community organizations, Ms. Williams is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Administrative Law Section, the Michigan Bar Association, and the Virginia Bar Association. She has served on the Board of Directors of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (TAANA), co-chairs its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and frequently speaks on topics related to healthcare law, documentation, professional accountability, and regulatory risk management.
