Chanel M. Patrick is an associate in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice on general liability, insurance defense coverage, bad faith litigation, and business and commercial law.
Ms. Patrick is known for her diverse background in both transaction and litigation law. Previously, she was founding and managing attorney of her law practice in Atlanta where she focused on real estate transactions, contract negotiations as well as intellectual property matters. Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Patrick was an attorney with a law firm where she primarily represented government agencies, boards, and cities throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.. Previously, Ms. Patrick specialized in risk management and regulatory compliance. She also served as criminal defense counsel in Clayton and Henry County State Courts.
Ms. Patrick received her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2014 and Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Missouri in 2009.
She is licensed to practice law in Georgia and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and Supreme Court of Georgia. Ms. Patrick is a member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Gate City Bar Association.
Ms. Patrick has served as a pro bono attorney for the Refugee WomenaEUR(TM)s Network/Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta; the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation Saturday Lawyer Program; and was a volunteer with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Clinic as a prosecution attorney conducting trademark investigations and certifying federal trademarks for small business owners.
