Chauncey X. McNeill is an associate in the San Francisco Bay hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he manages a range of cases across labor, employment, and complex class actions. His background in civil litigation equips him with a unique perspective, allowing him to effectively advocate for clients in state and federal courts.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. McNeill gained valuable experience at a Bay Area law firm, where he was instrumental in drafting pleadings, motions, and orders, conducting witness interviews, and performing discovery analysis for employment-related cases. He further developed his expertise in labor law with the Oakland City Attorney's Office, where he advised on California labor regulations, including minimum wage laws and sick leave policies.
In 2016, Mr. McNeill attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for his undergraduate studies. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from University of San Francisco School of Law. During law school, he served as the Student Bar Association President for the University of San Francisco. He was a Bridge Fellow at the Oakland City Attorney's Office. He served at the Vice-President of the Black Law Student Association of the University of San Francisco. He also served as Contracts, Civil Procedure and Torts tutor during law school.
Mr. McNeill is licensed to practice law in California, and he was a member of the United States Air Force Reserves.
