Chris Johnson is a partner in the Lexington hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., specializing in workers' compensation defense and subrogation. With a wealth of experience at both the trial and appellate levels, Mr. Johnson crafts tailored defense strategies while building strong relationships with clients, Administrative Law Judges, and opposing counsel. His ability to provide immediate, precise expertise makes him a trusted advisor across a range of legal areas, particularly in workers' compensation.
Mr. Johnson has played a key role in leading workers' compensation practices at the firms he has served. He consistently demonstrates strong leadership in both his practice and client relationship development, managing high-volume cases for major employers in Kentucky and complex subrogation litigation. Additionally, he regularly conducts seminars for insurance adjusters, providing valuable insights on Kentucky workers' compensation law and ethics for continuing education credits.
Mr. Johnson earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010, where he received a Certification in Sports Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with minors in English and History, from the University of Kentucky. His leadership during his academic years extended to roles within the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and as sports editor for The Kentucky Kernel.
Mr. Johnson is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and has previously held licensure in Michigan.
