"Chris" Chrisdon F. Rossi is a partner in the Farmington Hills Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Rossi focuses his practice on civil litigation with a concentration in first- and third-party automobile liability, premises liability, construction defect litigation, employment practices liability, municipal defense, wrongful death, and bad faith claims. His experience extends to defending claims involving PIP, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, property loss, and catastrophic injury across a broad spectrum of personal and commercial lines.
As a seasoned litigator, Mr. Rossi brings more than two decades of courtroom and trial experience to his clients, having represented individuals, businesses, municipalities, and national insurers. He has successfully handled jury trials in the federal district court and throughout Michigan's district, circuit, and probate courts. His practice also includes defending complex constitutional and civil rights claims under 42 U.S.C. §1983, involving allegations of First Amendment violations, Fourteenth Amendment due process and equal protection issues, and Title VII discrimination matters, including race, age, gender discrimination, and sexual harassment. Additionally, Mr. Rossi has represented public entities in zoning and eminent domain disputes and obtained favorable outcomes in multimillion-dollar litigation.
Earning his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1999, Mr. Rossi completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan before attending law school in 1995.
Mr. Rossi is admitted to practice in Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He has argued before the Michigan Supreme Court and has obtained favorable published appellate opinions in the areas of employment discrimination (White v. Baxter Healthcare Corp., 6th Cir. 2008) and probate law (In Re: Estate of Juanita Evangeline Kostin, Mich. App. 2008).
