Christine B. Koo is a partner in the Los Angeles Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., Ms. Koo represents individuals, businesses, and corporations in all phases of litigation, from early case assessment and pre-litigation counseling through discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Her practice encompasses general liability, construction litigation, and complex commercial disputes.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Koo has handled a broad range of high-value matters across industries including construction, environmental, securities, and product liability. She has extensive scope of litigation experience including prosecution and defense of defective construction, commercial, environmental, pharmaceutical, securities, surety, fraud, unfair business practices, negligence, and consumer protection matters. Ms. Koo manages discovery in large-scale litigation, taking and defending depositions, preparing expert witnesses, and coordinating complex document productions involving thousands of records. Her depth of experience in both state and federal courts gives her a comprehensive understanding of procedural nuances and litigation strategies.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Koo gained significant trial and case management experience serving as lead counsel in both jury and bench trials. She has been instrumental in developing litigation strategies for multi-million-dollar cases, including class actions and multidistrict litigation, and has earned recognition for her ability to navigate complex factual issues efficiently and effectively.
In 2003, Ms. Koo earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), and her Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1999.
Ms. Koo served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marilyn Hall Patel, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, and the Honorable Barry Kurren, Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court, District of Hawai'i.
Licensed to practice in California and New York, Ms. Koo is admitted to the State Bars of both jurisdictions and the United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California, as well as the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Her dual-state licenses and federal court admissions enable her to represent clients seamlessly across both coasts, navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
