Christopher Bailey is an associate in the Louisville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.. Mr. Bailey is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on insurance defense, personal injury, foreclosure, civil litigation, and appellate law. He possesses a unique ability to resolve complex legal questions by breaking them down into manageable components and manages cases involving a broad array of legal issues.
Mr. Bailey has extensive experience in both first-party and third-party property insurance claims, as well as personal injury litigation. Throughout his career, he has performed litigation on behalf of individuals, businesses, and government agencies. He is skilled in all phases of the litigation lifecycle, including preparing pleadings and discovery, performing oral arguments on complex issues, and engaging in both criminal and civil appellate practice.
In addition to his private practice experience, Mr. Bailey has a significant background in public service and specialized legal research. He previously served as an Assistant Public Advocate at the Kentucky Attorney General's Office, where he represented indigent clients in criminal matters, and worked as a Staff Attorney for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. During his tenure with the state, he provided essential legal services to the Department for Community Based Services and the Office of Inspector General. His diverse background also includes experience in foreclosure litigation and locating assets for collections.
In 2016, Mr. Bailey earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, where he served on the Journal of Animal and Environmental Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, graduating with high distinction, from Indiana University Southeast.
Mr. Bailey is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky.
