Christopher Lund serves as of Counsel in the Las Vagas Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. For more than 10 years, Mr. Lund has been recognized for his expertise in civil litigation, particularly in areas such as product defect, personal injury, employment law, homeowners' association disputes, landlord-tenant conflicts, contract disputes, and appellate matters.
As the previous Senior Counsel for a Las Vegas firm since 2016, Mr. Lund has successfully defended clients in a broad range of civil litigation cases. His dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients is reflected in his extensive trial experience, including first-chairing multiple jury and bench trials. He has also successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Notably, he represented clients in civil litigation cases involving personal injury, employment law, defamation, contracts, trademark, copyright, and family law. During this time, he achieved significant appellate victories, including creating new case law before the Utah Court of Appeals in breach of employment contract and fiduciary duty cases.
Notable career highlights include:
- Being named one of the "Top 10 Under 40" by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys (NAOPIA) for Utah.
- Securing a $120,000 jury verdict in a landmark Utah defamation case.
- Obtaining multiple defense verdicts in homeowners association cases across jury trials and arbitrations.
- Successfully defending a personal injury case involving novel NASCAR waiver issues before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In 2001, Mr. Lund obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, completed in 2024, and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language, which he earned in 2004, both from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Being fluent in Russian allows him to bring a unique perspective to his practice.
Mr. Lund is admitted to practice in Utah and Nevada.
In addition to his litigation expertise, he has extensive experience in safety and compliance management, having served as Manager, Safety & Compliance for Gray Line of Alaska and Royal Caribbean Cruises. In this role, he oversaw complex regulatory compliance and investigated claims, including workers' compensation, employment discrimination, and vehicle accidents.
