Corey G. Gagnon is an associate in the Louisville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Gagnon represents clients throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through mediation, trial, and appeal. His practice focuses on civil litigation, with particular experience in defending healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and assisted living centers against claims of negligence, wrongful death, and premises liability.

Mr. Gagnon served as a civil litigator handling a broad spectrum of matters, including personal injury, eviction defense, and protective orders before joining QPWB. He also gained significant courtroom experience early in his career as a prosecutor, where he managed felony and misdemeanor cases, conducted hearings, negotiated pleas, and advocated for victims' rights. His extensive litigation background provides him with a sharp eye for strategy and a strong command of courtroom dynamics.

His prior work as a judicial staff attorney further strengthened his skills in motion practice, trial preparation, and case management across both civil and criminal dockets. His research-driven approach and litigation versatility make him a valuable advocate for clients facing complex and high-exposure claims.

Before pursuing a career in law, he built a distinguished foundation in English literature. Mr. Gagnon earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, graduating with honors. He completed all doctoral coursework toward a Ph.D. in English Literature at the University of Kentucky while simultaneously teaching undergraduate classes. He previously earned his Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of New Hampshire, graduating with high academic honors. Mr. Gagnon began his academic journey at Middlebury College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.

Mr. Gagnon is licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
