Danica Carman is an associate in the Dallas Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., concentrating her practice on personal injury defense. Ms. Carman has more than thirteen years of litigation experience, including trial work, criminal law, and high-volume case management. She previously served as an attorney manager at a personal injury law firm, where she led a team of attorneys and support staff in achieving performance benchmarks and maintaining firm standards.
Ms. Carman began her practice as a misdemeanor prosecutor, where she managed daily court dockets and negotiated hundreds of cases under high-pressure conditions. She led 12 misdemeanor jury trials as first chair and co-counseled three felony trials, including a murder case. In these roles, she drafted and argued motions, conducted bond hearings, examined witnesses, and developed trial strategies, experience that directly informs her litigation approach in personal injury defense.
Throughout her career, Ms. Carman has held key supervisory roles, overseeing attorneys, legal assistants, and operational workflows. Known for her results-driven leadership, she has trained new hires, conducted performance reviews, and delivered regular progress reports to senior leadership, all while ensuring legal compliance and team productivity. Her ability to lead while managing complex caseloads reflects her strong command of both legal process and people management.
Ms. Carman earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2012 and her Bachelor of Science from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado in 1993.
Licensed to practice law in Texas, she brings disciplined, trial-tested insight into every matter she handles. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and practicing Taekwondo.
