Daniel A. Alvarado is an associate in the Dallas office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. His practice is focused in the areas of general liability, insurance defense coverage issues, personal injury litigation, premises liability, and medical malpractice defense.
Mr. Alvarado has broad experience advising and representing insurers on third-party coverage matters. Prior to joining QPWB, he was an associate with a Dallas-based insurance defense firm where he litigated commercial trucking and premises liability cases from start to finish. Mr. Alvarado conducted initial investigation, managed discovery, drafted and argued motions around the DFW Metroplex, and negotiated disputes to achieve favorable client outcomes.
Mr. Alvarado received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, in May 2020 and a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies, minoring in political science from Baylor University in December 2016. While in law school, he was an extern for a magistrate judge in the Northern District of Texas, intern at an Irving-based Fortune 500 company, and advocate in SMU's Family Immigration Detention Clinic in which he aided refugee clients navigate immigration compliance matters in applying for legal asylum.
