Daniel T. Pittman is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He practices in the areas of first-party property insurance defense, general liability and long term care defense.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Pittman was a litigation associate with a law firm assisting Florida homeowners with property insurance claims and disputes. His experience also includes working as an assistant state attorney at the 20th Judicial Circuit in Florida; in addition to his many duties, he conducted First Appearance hearings and represented Florida in six criminal jury trials in Hendry and Glades counties. Mr. Pittman served as a legal intern for the Office of the Public Defender, 13th Circuit in Tampa, Florida where he prepared pretrial events and assisted with deposition of witnesses.
Mr. Pittman received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport, Florida in May 2014 and Bachelor of Arts in English from Wake Forest University, Winston Salem, North Carolina in May 2011. While in law school, he served the City of Tampa Attorney's Office as a legal volunteer intern; he also volunteered with Gulfcoast Legal Services in St. Petersburg, Florida where he participated in client intake and discussed clients' goals with management. Mr. Pittman also served as a legal intern helping domestic violence survivors at Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA).
Mr. Pittman is licensed to practice law in Florida.
