Daniel F. Tamaroff is a partner in the West Palm Beach office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Tamaroff's practice focuses on the defense, and insurance coverage, and claims-handling process of matters involving first-party property insurance for carriers.  His practice also includes third-party liability defense and commercial litigation.  Mr. Tamaroff represents clients in state and federal litigation involving breach of contract, negligence, and wrongful death, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), whistleblower retaliation, employment discrimination, intellectual property litigation and transactional matters involving purchase/sale agreements, leases, licenses and assignments, and various other business contracts.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Tamaroff was a partner with two well-regarded insurance defense law firms; the majority of his practice focused on providing coverage opinions and first party litigation defense for admitted and surplus lines carriers with a focus on large exposure claims to insured condominium associations and ultra-high value single family homes.  He was also shareholder of a full-service, Miami-based law firm handling all aspects of civil litigation, where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in federal intellectual property litigation and transactional matters.  He was also general counsel to a variety of companies, handling entity structuring and formation, purchase and sales agreements, commercial leases, and handling a variety of other business agreements and contracts.

Mr. Tamaroff commenced his legal career with his private law practice in Texas handling criminal defense, real property, and family law matters.  He gained commercial litigation experience in Texas' state and federal courts, representing clients in multimillion dollar construction defect, first-party claims, product liability, and tort litigation.  He later gained broad experience with insurance law performing coverage review and drafting coverage opinions for cases involving commercial package, homeowner's, professional, commercial and business automobile, personal automobile, and farm and ranch policies.

Mr. Tamaroff received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Valparaiso University School of Law, Indiana in May 2006 and Bachelor of Arts in History from Davidson College, North Carolina in May 2003.  While in law school, he served on a judicial externship with the Superior Court for Lake County, Indiana and was a congressional intern for Pennsylvania's Eighth Congressional District in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Tamaroff is licensed to practice law in Florida and Texas and is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District, Middle District and Northern District of Florida; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District and Eastern District of Texas; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
