David A. Olson

David A. Olson is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With over 19 years of trial experience, Mr. Olson has served as lead counsel in more than 20 jury trials, covering personal injury litigation, including general liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, inadequate security, premises liability, auto accidents, trucking accidents, and general trial practice. In addition to his personal injury defense practice, he brings extensive expertise in criminal law, having practiced as both a prosecutor and defense attorney.

Mr. Olson manages cases in state and federal courts from inception through settlement, trial, and appeals.  Employing a practical, business-minded approach, he promptly evaluates his clients' claims, seeking reasonable opportunities for early resolution while remaining prepared for litigation. Recognizing the value of thorough trial preparation, Mr. Olson ensures that each case is meticulously prepared, placing his clients in the best position for cost-effective resolution. If a reasonable settlement cannot be reached, his extensive trial experience equips him to pursue jury verdicts effectively. Furthermore, he remains vigilant for trial court errors that may necessitate appellate review, leveraging his substantial appellate experience to safeguard his clients' interests. Notably, he recently delivered a successful oral argument at the Georgia Court of Appeals.

In 2006, Mr. Olson obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was honored with induction into the prestigious Order of Barristers. Prior to his legal studies, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs and Spanish from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003, with a minor in Law, Science & Technology.

Licensed to practice law in Georgia, Mr. Olson maintains an AV® Preeminent rating Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest possible peer rating for both legal ability and ethical standards. He is a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the Atlanta Bar Association. Mr. Olson has been an honoree on the Georgia Rising Stars list, voted by his peers as one of Atlanta's best lawyers.
