Davis Bauer is an associate in the Scottsdale Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., with a litigation practice spanning personal injury defense, wrongful death, probate litigation, business disputes, and civil rights matters. He has represented individuals, businesses, and state agencies. Licensed in five states: Arizona, Texas, Utah, Colorado, and Missouri, Mr. Bauer regularly appears before both state and federal courts across Arizona.
Mr. Bauer most recently managed over 70 active probate litigation cases for a law firm's litigation department, including matters concerning probate, trust administration, testamentary capacity, and fiduciary duties. Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Bauer was involved in several high-impact litigation matters. In one notable probate bench trial, he prevailed against a party who had applied to be personal representative without legal priority or evidence he was next of kin. In criminal court, he attended a five-day preliminary hearing involving felony charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault, resulting in the dismissal of all charges for lack of probable cause. In civil court, he defended against a wrongful death claim in which the family requested over $3 million in a notice of claim they delivered to the state of Arizona - the case was significantly reduced to a low settlement at trial.
Mr. Bauer has also successfully defended state actors against claims of reckless indifference and has won summary judgment in federal civil rights cases. His advocacy led to the reinstatement of a student on free speech grounds and the resolution of election law disputes that removed ineligible committee members from the office. In the commercial litigation space, he has obtained six-figure settlements on behalf of creditor clients, negotiated favorable outcomes, assisted and led successful trials, and resolved real estate, probate, and business disputes before trial.
