Dustin J. Hess is a partner in the Farmington Hills Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He litigates complex claims involving Michigan No-Fault, automobile liability, commercial issues, and premises liability, and is known for building case strategies that support both immediate defense and long-term risk mitigation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hess has developed a strong litigation track record before appellate courts, earning recognition for his analytical depth and persuasive legal writing. His ability to anticipate litigation trends and manage high-volume caseloads has made him a trusted advisor to insurers, self-insured businesses, and corporate clients. His experience includes resolving provider suits, fraud investigations, EUO matters, and coverage disputes involving PIP, UM/UIM, and contract claims.
Mr. Hess earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he completed a judicial internship with the Michigan Court of Appeals. Before law school, he attended Albion College to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management, with an emphasis in Accounting.
Outside the courtroom, Mr. Hess is a dedicated youth mentor and coach. He leads the football program at St. Edith Parish in Livonia through the Catholic Youth Organization and serves as an assistant basketball coach, demonstrating his commitment to leadership and community both on and off the field.
Licensed to practice in Michigan and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Mr. Hess is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Shamrock Bar Association.
