Dustin J. Dorsey is a partner in the San Fransisco Bay Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Dorsey specializes in insurance coverage analysis and litigation defense. He brings a rich and varied litigation background, with experience in personal injury, construction defects, asbestos litigation, premises liability, employment, tribal law, intellectual property, and product liability.
While practicing at an insurance defense litigation and insurance coverage at a well-regarded defense firm in Portland, Oregon, Mr. Dorsey successfully defended numerous complex cases, earning a reputation for his meticulous attention to detail. He prides himself on developing litigation plans and managing litigation from inception to resolution including drafting complaints, motions, and memoranda of law, and participate in oral arguments before state and federal courts.
Graduating summa cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Mr. Dorsey earned his Juris Doctor in 2019. Before attending law school, he obtained his Bachelor of Science, cum laude from Augsburg University in 2010. During his time in law school, he was the Editor of the Law Journal for Public Policy and Practice and for the Mitchell Hamline Intellectual Property Law Review. He acquired several accolades for his academic achievements, including the CALI Award (top grade) in Civil Procedure, Contracts, and Legal Research and Writing.
Licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington, and California, Mr. Dorsey is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
