Eric W. Boyer is the Managing Partner of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. and practices from the firm's Miami office. His areas of practice include general liability, insurance defense, premises liability, medical malpractice and nursing home defense litigation. Mr. Boyer has also extensively counseled clients in loss prevention and risk management across a broad spectrum of issues. Along with these areas of concentration, he manages and coordinates the handling of large complex litigation accounts to ensure guideline compliance and quality service. Mr. Boyer is frequently retained by self-insured clients and insurance companies to negotiate and facilitate settlements.

Contributions to the firm's growth and strategic planning over the years:

As Managing Partner of the firm since 2005, Mr. Boyer is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the firm.

He has directed the firm's geographic expansion to approximately 400 lawyers practicing throughout 31 offices in the United States and U.S. Virgin Islands.  In Florida, the firm grew to nine offices, and added offices in Kentucky, Illinois, Arizona, U.S. Virgin Islands, California, Texas, Michigan, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, Maryland, Indiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Nevada, Louisiana and Colorado. The firm has also grown to over 35 practice areas under Mr. Boyer's leadership.

Mr. Boyer was named to the BTI Client Service All-Star Team for Law Firms in 2009. The client-driven survey of Fortune 500 clients is based entirely on recommendations by corporate counsel of lawyers who provide unsurpassed excellence in client service delivery.  He is recognized by the South Florida Legal Guide as a "Top Lawyer" practicing in the area of insurance defense. 

Mr. Boyer is a member of The Florida Bar, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), Risk and Insurance Management Society, American Health Care Association, American Health Lawyers Association, American College of Health Care Administrators, Health Care Compliance Association, Assisted Living Federation of America, Florida Health Care Association, Florida Council on Aging, and the Florida Assisted Living Association, to name a few. 

Mr. Boyer is admitted to practice in Florida, in state and federal courts.

Mr. Boyer received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Florida State University College of Law in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science in business from Indiana University in 1994.

Mr. Boyer joined Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer in 1998 and was admitted as a partner in 2000.
