She is an experienced trial lawyer and practices in diverse types of civil litigation with a focus in the areas of insurance defense, concentrating on matters pertaining to personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, legal malpractice defense, employment-related claims including employment discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination, and civil rights violations.

Since 2006, Ms. Plummer serves as an approved instructor of continuing education, certified by the Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Insurance Agent and Agency Services.  Throughout her years of practice, Ms. Plummer has represented major insurance carriers in all aspects of their claims - from inception through completion and appeal - handling document-intensive investigation and extensive discovery aspects while consistently working with claims specialists to develop and implement successful litigation, settlement, and trial strategies in cases involving high-dollar values, emotionally charged issues, and heightened confidentiality concerns.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Plummer worked with several well-established insurance defense law firms where she represented major national property and casualty insurance carriers and handled myriad of matters for corporate and private clients, including hospitals, in all of her areas of practice. She has also represented plaintiffs and defendants while working at a Gainesville law firm, where in addition to her insurance defense practice, she also focused on matters pertaining to children's rights and contested guardianships.  Ms. Plummer commenced private practice in 2000 as an associate with a Gainesville, Florida law firm where she practiced for ten years focusing on medical malpractice, employment and housing discrimination, coverage and contract analyses, and other insurance defense cases and civil litigation appeals.  While in Gainesville, she served as both the President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Young Lawyers Division and President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit.

Ms. Plummer received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in May 2000 and Bachelor of Science, with honors, from the University of Florida in May 1995, graduating with a major in advertising.

Ms. Plummer is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court.
