Ellen L. Ash is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. From civil litigation to insurance and criminal defense, Ms. Ash established her reputation with versatility and excellence. Her areas of expertise include automotive liability, insurance claims, medical malpractice defense, contract disputes, personal injury, premises liability, property damage, construction defects, government liability defense, workers' compensation, labor and employment, toxic torts, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death.
In 2000, Ms. Ash began her legal journey as a criminal defense attorney at the start of the 21st century, which later evolved into a broader civil defense practice to include premises liability, medical malpractice, product liability, trucking liability defense, and workers' compensation defense. Over the years, she has successfully handled complex cases, including intentional torts such as wrongful arrests and malicious prosecutions.
Before joining QPWB., Ms. Ash served as the co-managing partner at Landrum, Friduss & Ash, where she not only managed the firm, but also specialized in representing local governmental entities, employment matters, and civil appeals. Her prior experience primarily focused on insurance defense, covering motor vehicle liability, wrongful death, personal injury, and property damage claims.
Ms. Ash's earned both her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida. In 1994, she graduated with honors, majoring in history and political science, and minoring in Chinese studies. Soon after, in 1997, she earned her law degree with honors.
